bread ultimatumArmed with theme, “International and Progressive”, BREAD Officers congregated in two days, December 27 and 28 for the  4th Quarter Leaders Convention in BREAD Office in city of Caloocan.

Leaders from different regions of the Philippines came to attend the two-day event, while live feed was provided to delegates abroad. During the first day of the event, the Vice Presidents of National Departments presented the activities and goals for the coming years to gear up the members for the celebration of its 13th founding anniversary.

Bro. Jensen Sobrejuanite, National President of the organization in the Philippines, presented the year-end report for the year 2010, “LetsDOSErvice”, BREAD’s 12th Anniversary Theme while the International Vice President, Bro. Leo Banasen, introduced the upcoming theme for the 13th Founding Anniversary, B1:3 – The Ultimatum.

Bro. King Cortez, the International President, urged the officers to commit and be part of the new group he named BREAD Army, whose primary objective is to smash malicious and false doctrines, and other ideas that oppose the teachings of the Bible and deny the existence of God.  He prompted the organization about the sudden rise of those converted to atheism around the world and the need to take actions to succumb their propagations in the web.

The Bible Bank

As part of its mission to propagate Bible Reading, the BREAD Society also introduced the Bible Bank. This project aims to gather Bible that will be given to our fellowmen. The official launching of the project is expected on February, on the upcoming celebration of BREAD Society’s 13th Founding Anniversary.

Hands-on Service

The BREAD Society leaders started the 2nd day by serving the patients and volunteers of UNTV’s Clinic ni Kuya.  Right after the program, the leaders were brought to Sunken Garden in University of the Philippines-Diliman where they were taught how to conduct BREAD Society Fundamentals (BSF) Graduation.

With all these learning experiences during the 2-day Convention, BREAD Leaders are expected to work hand in hand as BREAD Society gears towards becoming International and Progressive, beginning today and beyond 2010.
